Signal quality counts
(and is measured!)

Signal losses, reflections and interference, cable mechanical strength, shielding efficiency ... in wiring every detail counts! To ensure top signal transmission you have to avoid compromise of any kind. If, for example, you use standard F-type screw connectors instead of our FC-5170, cable screening performance will drop by 5-15 dB anywhere between 30 and 3000 MHz. It is a measurable and indisputable fact!

That’s how we measure the quality we offer you!

What happens with our Vector DGS 2000 cable? While it has the same dimensions as a regular RG 6, its losses at 2150MHz are 6 dB / 100m lower. That means you get twice as much signal. This is the kind of thing that motivates us (!) and you’re better off using such cables, mainly because the cost of wiring in any installation never exceeds 5% of the total system cost. Therefore, it doesn’t make sense to risk significant underperformance in order to "save" a few euros!

Electromagnetic
Shielding

Pay attention to electromagnetic shielding, especially in smart buildings!

In modern day life, the simultaneous use of multiple smart devices in one location is probably the norm: mobile phones, tablets, laptops and smart TVs transmit and receive signals constantly. Now add the signals needed by smart air conditioning and heating systems, lighting, audio, robotic vacuum cleaners and so much more ... and you will begin to realise how important high electromagnetic shielding of your cables is to resist interference!
